We are honored to be one of Michael Moore's favorite 'hometown bookstores' in Northern Michigan, and are thrilled that he asked us to carry the signed first editions of his new memoir, Here Comes Trouble.
Because you must be a special fan of Mike's (or know someone who is), we hope you'll be happy to know that for each signed copy of Here Comes Trouble that we sell, our bookstore will donate $5 to the State Theater in Traverse City, MI, a venue near and dear to Michael's heart. The State originally opened as the Lyric Theatre on July 4, 1916 and was defunct for many years before Michael spearheaded the effort to restore it to its former glory. The independent movie house is now a major anchor of the downtown area and is run as a volunteer-based, charitable non-profit organization.
